Frequently Asked Questions

How long are items kept in the system?

Items remain visible for 90 days. After that, they're archived but can still be searched. Contact campus security for items older than 90 days.

What if I find my item but the owner doesn't respond?

Try contacting them multiple times over a few days. If no response, report it to campus security with the listing ID for assistance.

Can I edit my listing after posting?

Currently, you need to contact support to edit listings. Include your listing ID and the changes you'd like to make.

What should I do if I see a suspicious listing?

Report it immediately using the contact form. Include the listing ID and explain your concerns. We review all reports within 24 hours.

Is there a fee to use this service?

No, the Lost and Found portal is completely free for all students, faculty, and staff. It's a community service provided by the campus.
